NEW! Level-1
Trauma-Informed Assessment Specialist Certification
TLC, in collaboration with the Child Trauma Assessment Center (CTAC) at Western Michigan University, is proud to introduce this new Certification. With over 2,000 completed trauma-informed assessments, CTAC, a member of the National Child Trauma Stress Network, has a great deal of experience to offer. Trauma’s impact on language, social communication, sensory processing, cognitive and behavioral functioning dictate that intervention strategies and treatment plans be driven and guided by trauma-informed assessment. If we do not understand how children are actually processing their daily interactions, which observation alone does not reveal, how can we apply the most developmentally appropriate interventions? We cannot. This certification will provide you with defined competencies in the use of several assessment tools.
After completing Trauma-Informed Assessment Certification you may use the credentials "CTA" which stands for Certified Trauma-Informed Assessment Specialist.
