Roger Klein, PsyD

Roger J. Klein, PsyD is the Co-Founder and Director of Family Resources Associates, Inc. a private practice mental health clinic specializing in work with children and families. As a clinical psychologist, he has extensive experience providing therapy for traumatized children and their families. Dr. Klein worked, first as a teacher, and then as a school psychologist for over thirty years. He taught graduate courses for Aurora University, is the Co-Founder of Inner Coaching, specializing in products and programs to help children deal with and conquer stress. He is also on the consulting staff of Rogers Memorial Hospital, a private psychiatric hospital, and consultant to Healing Images for Children a program for children with cancer and other illnesses.

Dr. Klein is co-author of Ready…Set…R.E.L.A.X. A Researched Based Program of Relaxation, Learning and Self Esteem for Children. The program is described in a chapter he authored of the same title in Creative Interventions with Traumatized Children (The Guildford Press, 2008, N.Y. ed. Cathy A. Malchiodi). This program is a component of the Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Intervention Project developed by the Juvenile Justice Department in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Dr. Klein is a frequent presenter at local, state and national conferences. He has been a faculty member at The National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children (TLC) since 2000.
