Comments from Students

When I first signed up for the course I was questioning what I might learn in 1 CE hour, plus I have had years of working with PTSD cases. I walked away from the course being pleasantly surprised as I learned some new ways to work with patients in trauma, pain, and PTSD management. I especially liked the Safe/Fun Place Imagery and Drawing Activity. I gained insight from some of the latest research on auto accidents and PTSD, was pleased with the Melissa case study, and enjoyed reviewing the migraine headache study. If the instructor was going to offer additional on-line courses in pain management in the future I would be interested in taking it for my Social Work License/and or Psychology.

The article by Cynthia Townsend ''PTSD and Chronic Pain'' is extremely helpful. Thanks for selecting it for additional reading.

It was fun to read the study material. Thank you for the interesting information and guidelines.
