Online Courses

TLC offers online courses designed to enable schools, crisis teams, child and family counselors, and private practitioners to help traumatized children. Some online courses include books. We continue to add new courses, so keep checking back. Save time and travel by taking a TLC online course! TLC Now Offers Podcasts

TLC is pleased to offer one-hour recorded podcasts for $25 each. This includes 1 Continuing Education credit. You can listen and view the podcast as often as you like. Click here to see our podcast offerings.

How to Register

It's easy to register for a TLC online course! Just go to the TLC online bookstore and click on the red button that says "Online Courses." Select the course you want to take and fill in your payment information. We will email you a link to the course and a user name and password as soon as possible. Some courses include a book in pdf format, which you can download. Most courses take about 6 hours to complete. When you have successfully completed your online course you can download a Continuing Education Certificate of Completion. We allow up to 6 months for completion. Sorry, but we do not give refunds on courses that are not completed in that time frame. Click here to go to the TLC Bookstore to register for an online course.

Your Online Courses

You must first REGISTER and PAY for your online course before you will be emailed a user name and password as well as a link to your online courses. Once you login you will see all of the online courses you have registered for. Click on the course name to enter in to the course materials. Navigating through a TLC course is very user friendly and intuitive. Finish at your own pace in the comfort of your own home. And of course you can always call or email TLC if you have questions!

Once we receive your payment we will send you the link to log in to YOUR online courses. If you have any questions call TLC at 877-306-5256 or email [email protected].

Finish Your TLC Certification Online

Attend the three required Level-1 courses and take the rest from home! All you need to do is attend Children of Trauma, Structured Sensory Interventions and After the Crisis, and successfully complete any two TLC online courses and an essay exam to get your Certification. Professional CEs

Professional CEs are available for TLC online courses but must be purchased separately. Cost of CEs for one course is $25 or four CEs for $60. You can purchase CEs in the TLC Online Bookstore. Click here for a complete list of credits.
