Wow! This course was evenmore informative than I was expecting. The material was helpful. I feel that I can use it to jump right in with students who are current struggling. I particularly liked Dr. Steele's article which was a great refresher. Other helpful pieces were the article on friends who bully and the many protective and risk factors of students. That really opened my eyes to this whole topic. Thank you so much for helping me help my students.
I liked the material and found it helpful. We have not been able to get the schools, board, community, to consider "learning" opportunities or Mediation etc. Only punishment for the bully. What has succeeded as a strategy to implement changes?
This would be another online course, I think.
This was an excellent course as bullying is so much in our schools today. Another thought I think would be good in the future is to talk about adults who bully other adults. Sometimes this happens with parents or with people in the workplace. Just a thought....
